‘Let
all that I am praise the Lord; with my whole heart, I will praise His holy
name. Let all that I am praise the Lord; may I never forget the good things
He does for me’ (Psalm 103:1, 2 - NLT).
In
Psalm 103, David the psalmist, records some of the most profound reasons
why we should be thankful to God and express our gratitude in the form of
praise. He outlines thirty benefits or blessings we receive from our maker
that should inspire us to praise Him.
A
careful study of Psalm 103 reveals that David only unveils the tip of the
iceberg, in terms of the actual number of our blessings. Our blessings are
indeed uncountable.
As
you consider the blessings outlined in Psalm 103, count your blessings
personally and you will remember what the Lord has done. For one to enjoy
the journey of life it is important to learn to count your blessings daily.
